"I'm very happy to share some good news on the research front. While I'm over here in Austria, one of our current PhD students, Haiyan Huang, and one of our PhD alumni, Jeria Quesenberry (now on the faculty at Carnegie Mellon University), did IST proud at the recent ACM SIGMIS Computer Personnel Research Conference in Charlottesville, VA. They presented our paper (also coauthored with Stephen McKnight from GSP Consulting in Pittsburgh) "Linking Economic Development and Workforce Diversity through Action Research," for which they were notified that we received the best paper award!"
